2 Information We Collect

When you interact with Vitalieu—whether you’re answering our Water-Wellness quiz, creating an account, placing an order, or chatting with support—we inevitably gather some information. This includes basic contact details such as your name, e-mail address, phone number, and, if you make a purchase, your shipping information. The quiz itself captures your answers about water quality and skin- or hair-related concerns; these responses help us personalise recommendations. If you check out, we record the product you chose, the transaction amount, an anonymised payment token supplied by our processor (Stripe), and the courier tracking number. Like most websites, we also receive device and usage data—IP address, browser type, pages viewed, clicks, and referring ads—through cookies, pixels, and Google Analytics 4. Finally, we keep a light record of your marketing preferences, such as whether you opened an e-mail or clicked a link. We never store full credit-card numbers; those are handled exclusively by PCI-compliant payment processors.

4 Legal Bases (GDPR)

We use the information we collect for five core purposes. First, and most important, we need it to fulfil your orders—processing payments, printing shipping labels, sending tracking links, and handling returns or warranty requests. Second, your quiz answers and purchase history allow us to send genuinely useful e-mails: tailored water-care tips, product-specific instructions, and your pre-launch VIP credit. Third, aggregated device and behaviour data help us understand which pages or ads resonate so we can improve the site experience without guessing. Fourth, limited pieces of hashed contact data feed into advertising platforms (Meta, Google) so we can measure campaign performance and avoid showing you irrelevant ads. Finally, certain data—order totals, tax amounts, and anonymised audit logs—must be retained for legal or anti-fraud reasons, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and protecting both you and Vitalieu.
